Most family photos parents remember from their own childhood are stiff studio affairs where nobody looks comfortable. I would rather do the opposite. The best family pictures come from letting kids be kids and catching the real moments in between.
So a session with me is loose. We walk, we play, I photograph the cuddles and the chaos and the quiet bits, and I step in for a couple of proper family portraits when everyone is warmed up. You end up with images that actually feel like this stage of your life, not a posed card.
