Terms
This is an agreement between two parties: the Client and the Provider of service, along with any subcontractors from LemonLens LTD. Any photographers, videographers, or subcontractors from LemonLens will be referred to as the “Photographer.” Any variation of this term will refer to the specific service or role being provided. The person seeking services from the Photographer will be referred to as the “Client." This exists to give a background and understand for clients on how I operate and what to expect within a job. If you notice any glaring issues within this TOS please contact us so we can rctify and give clarity. It is expected that if you make a bookign with LemonLens you have read this and you understand the given terms, within the booking process if you are confused about a section you must reach out prior to the bookign to ensure clarity.

Change of Date or Venue
The Photographer must be notified immediately of any changes in schedule or location at least one week prior to the event date. Notification can be made by phone and confirmed in writing via email. A confirmation of receipt from the Photographer must be obtained. It is the Client’s responsibility to confirm all arrangements at least 7–10 days before the event.

Clients must notify the Photographer of any changes to contact information or address. The Photographer encourages the Client to confirm final details two weeks before the event. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure communication is maintained.

Service Understanding
The Client acknowledges they are paying for a service and not a specific end product. A portrait service will produce portrait images, while a wedding session will produce wedding images LemonLens will deliver the results of the time paid for, but no specific “level of quality” is guaranteed due to the subjective nature of creative work.

Cancellation
There shall be no refund of retainer once the agreement is signed. If the event is canceled within two weeks of the scheduled date, the Client must pay the remaining balance due to the high likelihood that the date cannot be rebooked. Cancellations must be made in writing, even if a phone call has occurred.

Failure to Perform
The Photographer will make all reasonable efforts to deliver quality results; however, they cannot be held responsible for missed shots, technical issues, or scheduling delays caused by weather, venue restrictions, or the actions of other individuals. Clients are responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions and permits for shoot locations.

Copyright
All images and materials remain the property of LemonLens until full payment has been received. The Photographer retains copyright to all content produced. The Client is granted limited rights for personal use upon full payment, including printing and personal sharing. Copying, editing, or distributing the Photographer’s work without written consent is prohibited.

The Photographer reserves the right to use images and videos for professional portfolios, advertising, social media, exhibitions, and other promotional uses unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Damages
Clients are responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for the Photographer. If damage occurs to the Photographer’s equipment or person due to unsafe conditions, the Client will be liable for reimbursement of repair, replacement, and any related expenses.

Expenses
Travel, parking, and additional expenses (if applicable) are the responsibility of the Client and will be outlined in the booking agreement.

Creative License
Images and videos are edited at the Photographer’s discretion. Not all captured content will be delivered, and only those deemed suitable for professional presentation will be released.

Force Majeure
If LemonLens cannot perform due to events beyond control (fire, illness, strike, weather, terrorism, equipment failure, or natural disasters), liability is limited to the return of funds paid minus any retainers or expenses. The Photographer will make every effort to recover or restore lost files if technically possible.

Raw Files & Proxies
All unedited files remain the property of LemonLens LTD and will not be released unless agreed upon in writing under an additional contract. Unauthorized sharing or modification of raw or proxy files may result in legal action and a £4000+ fee. Un edited selections can be requested but it is down to the photographers discression on weather they can be shared and weather there is a required additional payment or not.

Payment Terms Within A job
Services are provided at an agreed price plus expenses. Full payment must be made by the specified date. Late payments will incur a £150 per week fee unless a written agreement is made to waive this fee. Payment terms are subject to differ from this within a given contract but this is a baseline for an agreement.
