This policy explains what personal information LemonLens collects when you use lemonlens.com, and what your rights are over it. LemonLens is a photography and videography business based in Fulham, London. For anything in this policy, or to exercise any of your rights, email hello@lemonlens.com.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to answer you and do the work:
- When you send an enquiry or booking request: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and whatever details you include about the shoot, from the date and location to the occasion and your budget.
- When you pay for a booking online: your payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- As you browse: standard analytics data such as the pages you visit, roughly where you are, and the device and browser you use.
Why we use it
We use what you send to answer your enquiry with real availability and honest pricing. If you go ahead and book, that same information lets us plan the shoot, take payment, and drop the confirmed date into our diary. The analytics tell us how people move around the site so we can keep making it better. Our legal basis for all this is a mix of your consent when you get in touch, our legitimate interest in running a business, and, once you book, doing what our contract with you requires.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data, and we never share it for advertising. It only goes to the services that keep things running, and only for the reasons above. Stripe processes card payments. Google runs the site analytics and holds our booking diary through Google Calendar. Our email and hosting providers deliver your enquiry and keep the website online. Each one acts strictly on our instructions and is bound by its own data protection terms.
Cookies
The site uses a small number of cookies, mainly for analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking details only as long as they are genuinely useful. In practice that means while we handle your request and deliver the work, plus however long our tax and accounting duties require afterwards. Once that time is up, we delete them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the data we hold about you, and to correct or delete it. You can also tell us to stop using it. Email hello@lemonlens.com and we will sort it out. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
