The small things set the tone. The dress hung on the door, your mum fixing an earring, that jumpy last hour before it all begins.
Through the ceremony and the speeches I work from the edges with long lenses, so the moment stays yours and nobody is squinting down a camera.
We slip away for about fifteen minutes near sunset. No drawn-out posing, just the two of you and whatever good light London hands us.
the standard
Most couples booking a photographer are quietly worried about the same thing. They do not want to spend the day being marched around for pictures, and they do not want stiff, identical shots at the end of it. That is the part I care about most.
So I work quietly. I stay near whatever is happening, catch the real moments as they arrive, and only step in for a brief run of portraits so you have a handful of shots worth printing large. For most of the day you will barely clock that I am there, which is rather the point.

A quick enquiry and a deposit secures the day. I only take one wedding per date.
We meet or call a few weeks before, run through the timings and the people who matter, and sort a loose plan.

A private online gallery within three weeks, hand-edited and ready to download or send off to print.

Lily M, cinematographyYes, often. London weddings are home turf, but I shoot across the South East and further afield regularly. Travel inside the M25 is included; anything past it I add at cost and agree with you first.
For a full day, usually somewhere between 500 and 700 finished images. I edit every one by hand rather than dumping the whole card on you, so what you get is the day at its best.
Yes. A second shooter is worth it when you have prep in two places or a guest list past about 120. I can bring someone I trust and quote it in.
Your full gallery lands within three weeks. If you would like a small sneak set to share in the first few days, just ask and I will send a handful.
I have never missed a wedding, but I carry backup gear for every job and I am part of a network of London photographers I trust. If the worst ever happened, I would arrange an equally good shooter and you would still get your full gallery.
