Texture, colour, real signage.
Peckham gives you a frame that London does not really repeat anywhere else. Painted shutters down Rye Lane, the staircase up to Frank's Cafe, the corner of Choumert Road on a busy Saturday. We use SE15 for clients who want a portrait that reads creative without leaning on the same Shoreditch shorthand.
Most of our Peckham sessions run as a 90 minute Rye Lane loop with an optional Bussey Building or Copeland Park stop. We avoid rooftop windows on the busiest summer weekends and prefer either a weekday evening session or a weekend morning before the market gets going.

Do you need a permit to shoot on Rye Lane?
Handheld portrait work on public pavement does not require a permit. Tripods, lighting stands, and commercial campaign work in Southwark require permission. We handle this for any commercial booking.
Is Peckham safe for an evening shoot?
Yes, with the same situational awareness as any busy London high street. Rye Lane has good footfall until late. We default to before sunset for personal portrait sessions.
Can you photograph on the Bussey Building rooftop?
Yes, with a small access fee paid to Bussey. Bookings need to be confirmed 5 working days ahead. The roof closes for private events on summer weekends.
Is parking available?
Limited. Peckham Rye station forecourt is the most reliable. Permit parking covers most of SE15. Tube is closer than parking for most sessions.

Default meeting point is the Peckham Rye station forecourt. Other meeting points include the Bussey Building loading bay or a Choumert Road cafe by arrangement.
