Its not a phase
Photographing INAP at Venue MOT
I have shot INAP many times by now, but funnily enough, it was actually the second rave I ever went to last year. Since then, it has become one of the main event photography services I provide. I adore INAP every single time it happens. I don’t know why, but the energy is just always there.
Hardcore is usually something you only find in mainstream clubs, but INAP being a queer hardcore event is something truly special. It creates a space for the community to enjoy a type of music that can sometimes feel overly masculine and intimidating to approach. Everybody in the INAP community is lovely, but for some people, these kinds of events can be a bit daunting at first. That’s why INAP feels so important. It’s inclusive, high-energy, and always filled with people who are there to connect and have fun.
Every INAP I’ve been to has been packed with people at the front, vibing together and moving in sync with the beat. That’s what I enjoy most about these sorts of events. It’s pure, unfiltered energy, with DJs who are giving everything they have to their sets.
Being a DJ photographer is always such a fun experience because every performer has their own rhythm and energy. Some DJs are completely locked into their craft, and you get these beautiful still shots of them focused in the middle of all the motion around them. Others are full of movement, dancing behind the decks and bringing their energy directly to the crowd. As a rave photographer, that kind of dynamic environment is what I live for. Every shot is different, and every frame tells a story of connection between the music and the people.
I’ve been to every INAP since that first one, and I plan to keep going for as long as they’ll have me. It’s one of those events that never loses its spark. The atmosphere, the people, and the music all come together perfectly, and it’s always a joy to document it as part of my London Rave Photography work.
I’m also really looking forward to the upcoming MLP Rave this month, which is being put on by the same organisers. They always know how to put on an amazing event, and I can’t wait to see how it turns out.
YIPPIE!
Being part of London’s nightlife scene as a rave photographer continues to push me creatively every time. Whether I’m capturing the pulse of hardcore beats or the softer moments between sets, I love being able to showcase the beauty of connection through event photography. These raves are more than just parties. They are spaces where creativity, identity, and music collide, and I feel lucky to keep documenting that energy for everyone to see.
